What is an ATS score and how is it calculated?
An ATS (Applicant Tracking System) score measures how well your resume is optimized for automated recruiter filters. MakeInterviewEasy calculates your score across four dimensions: formatting (20%), impact and metrics (35%), skills relevance (30%), and brevity (15%). Each dimension is scored out of 100 by our AI, then weighted to produce your final ATS compatibility score. A score above 80 means your resume is well-optimized; below 60 signals critical fixes needed.
Is my resume data safe and private?
Absolutely. Your resume data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard Supabase infrastructure with row-level security — only you can access your uploaded resumes and reports. Guest reports are stored without personal identifiers and are automatically deleted after 30 days. We never share, sell, or train AI models on your resume data.
How does the AI Voice Mock Interview work?
After your resume is analyzed, click "Start Mock Interview" on your report page. Our AI generates personalized interview questions based on your work experience, skills, and target role. You answer using your microphone while our speech-to-text engine transcribes your response in real time. Once you finish, the AI evaluates your answers on technical accuracy, STAR framework usage, and communication clarity — then gives you a score with actionable feedback.
How do AI bullet rewrites help my resume pass ATS filters?
ATS algorithms scan for action verbs, quantifiable metrics, and role-specific keywords. Our AI bullet rewrites identify your weakest bullet points — passive phrasing, missing numbers, vague responsibilities — and generate 2 improved alternatives per bullet.
